We only use sterling silver. Its brilliant reflections have made silver one of the most frequently used precious metals in goldsmiths and jewellers for thousands of years.
Also known as 925 silver, it is composed of 92.5% pure silver and 7.5% copper. As silver is a very soft metal, it is essential to combine it with a harder metal to give it the strength needed to create a quality piece of jewelry.
Like most precious metals, there are several grades of silver. You'll find 800, 830, 895 and 900 silver. Silver 925 thousandths is the one and only grade of silver we offer at Valkyrie, as it is the best composition for a silver jewel to stand the test of time.
